MastersinNursing.com is celebrating our 10 year anniversary with new and updated content in addition to a complete website redesign. Our site originally went live in February, 2008 and was just a one page site for the first couple of years.
The top of the original page looked like this:
We also had an overly descriptive intro before getting to the actual list of masters in nursing schools:
Here is how the beginning of the actual list of all accredited MSN programs in the US looked back then:
Here is how MastersinNursing.com looked in 2011 after the first redesign:
Here is the second redesign in 2016:
The ten year anniversary 2018 redesign and our goal for the future:
The new updated site still includes the list of all ACEN and CCNE accredited masters in nursing programs in the US on the home page. In addition to being able to sort the table alphabetically or by state, each program is ranked and they can now be instantly filtered by any keyword you choose. The rankings are based on a combination of several factors including: USNews rankings, Exam Pass Rates, and Program Popularity. Take a look on the home page if you would like to like to see the updated current list of Masters in Nursing Programs.
Additionally, all of our guide pages have been updated with 2018 statistics and information. The types of nursing degrees and specializations page has been expanded to include more information on each degree and many outdated pages were removed.
Our goal for the future is to continue to keep the home page list of MSN schools updated. We also plan to add the following pages: a doctor of nursing practice page, a DNP anesthesia page, and a nursing resources page. The top ten list of physician assistant programs on the NP vs PA page will also be expanded to include all PA programs in the US.
